As we did at Thanksgiving, we are running the same ad for both weeks of Christmas. These specials will run from Monday, December 16th through and including Sunday, December 29th! You will be able to take advantage of these special sale prices for a full two-week period. And if you’re anything like me, you’ll appreciate the extra time because you just plain forgot to go shopping or got otherwise caught up in the holiday spirit!
And while you’re in our store, you’ll want to take full vantage of any or all of our special offerings this holiday season. First of all, our homemade baked goods are second to none. If it says “HOMEMADE” on the label or on the sign, that’s because it is. It could just as easily say “STOREMADE”, but the end result is that it was made right here, on the premises, with fresh ingredients under the watchful eye of our talented bakers. The quality and variety is out of this world!
Another offering is our custom-made gift baskets. I would generally call them “fruit baskets” but the truth is – we will put practically anything you want in them. We once had a customer ask for a gift basket with nothing but the little 8oz cans of fruits and vegetables in it because her elderly father liked them for their single serving potential. Fruit, candy, nuts, coffee, cheeses and meat sticks all lend themselves excellently to gift baskets. If you don’t know what to buy for that special someone, the gift of food is always a winner. After all, we everyone has to eat once in a while.
And finally, gift cards are the ultimate in saying, “I don’t know what to get you but I’m sure you know what you want!” They are truly more impersonal than a gift with some thought behind it, but they are direct, to the point, and they allow the receiver the luxury of picking out exactly what they wish. The only downside that I can see, is the giftee knows exactly – to the dollar – what they’re worth to you!
Just a reminder in advance. Costa’s Supermarket will be closed all day Christmas Day and will be closing early, at 5pm, on Christmas Eve!
